About Us

The “Social Awareness For Education” (SAFE) Organization was found on December 31st, 2007 with the purpose of creating and spreading social awareness, ending blind beliefs and conservatism which are prominent in the society with the tool of education; and taking the youth towards the pinnacle of education, health and progress; thereby bringing about development on the social, economic and educational front.

According to the director of the Organization, “Ms. Raj kumari Gupta” today’s youth has the capability to make any impossible task possible; but the youth has been misled by the conservatism and blind faiths or they have wandered away from their aim due to corruption , harassment and thus they are ending up being involved in antisocial activities, alcoholism and crimes It is the need of the hour that the youth should get the guidance at the right time for education, health and employment; so that their educational, mental and economic development takes place. If the youth from the society are given the right opportunities at right time; the country shall also develop.

SAFE (Social Awareness For Education) today undertakes various programs and functions that are continued to be involved in meaningful, development driven initiatives that distinctly impact the quality of life of the weaker sections of the society, Safe caters to the need of marginalized youth and women as well, nationally it is known to serve the children in need and under difficult circumstances.

A wide range of programmes undertaken by SAFE organization are as follows :-

Non Formal Education & Balwadi (Teach India Program)

To mainstream these Marginalized children in the society and with a belief that all children should get equal opportunities to grow for that Educational programmes are being run to cover all categories of children. They receive a complete package comprising mid-day meals, uniforms, shoes, sweaters, health checkups and recreational facilities.

Remedial Classes

In order to achieve maximum result tutorial assistance is being provided in English, Maths & Science to the community children studying in different Standard.


Nutrition Nutrition

Children of NFE and Balwadi are being provided Mid-Day-Meal regularly. The nutritional value is specially maintained. Apart from meal children are also provided with fruits and refreshment time to time.

Health Camps

Community children enrolled in the education component undergo health check-ups where they are screened for ailments and ensured proper growth as per the milestones. Children requiring attention are referred for specialized treatment.

Vocational Training (Stitching, Beauty Culture, Career Counseling Center)

Under its vocational training programme the foundation organizes training for beauty parlor, sewing and weaving. Computer training programme is held for youth. The current strength of the students are: 120 in Beauty Culture and 120 in Sewing classes.

In these classes the students are taught spoken English so that with the help of this language they will be able to present their skills and capability in a better and improved way. Due to this campaign, today many young boys and girls feel proud and confident in themselves; that they are able to present their thoughts and plans about their work and the company’s future, nicely. We have been successful to provide Youth help in getting jobs, career counseling etc.

Computer Training

Children of the project are being provided with computer training to most of the children. Through this education children are getting familiar with the technical terms which are used in today’s life very commonly.

Mahila Panchayat

The SAFE Organization in the Partnership with Delhi Commission For Woman is dealing the problem of the local women and spreading the awareness amongst them about the women’s Rights and against domestic or any kind of violence against women. The accused person is issued a correspondence letter / summon and the hearing takes place on every Friday. The members of the Panchayat take a decision based on the hearing which is accepted by both the parties involved.

SAFE Organization organizes time to time street plays on the various social issues and to create awareness amongst the people regarding critical issues. Street Plays are a grassroots manifestation that is not only educational, but have the power of word of mouth.
